Safety Information
This section contains safety instructions, warnings, and cautions that must be followed when installing and maintaining the charger. Please read through this important safety information in its entirety prior to installing or operating the charging station.
Warnings
Adult supervision is required when using this device near children.
The charger must be grounded through the NEMA 14-50 outlet grounding system.
Do not install or use the charger near flammable, explosive, harsh, or combustible materials, chemicals, or vapors.
Do not insert foreign objects into any part of the charger.
Stop using and do not use the charger if it is defective, appears cracked, frayed, broken, or otherwise damaged, or fails to operate.
Never spray water or any other liquid directly at the charger. Never spray any liquid onto the charge connector or submerge the connector in liquid. Store the connector in the dock or use the included cover to prevent unnecessary exposure to contamination or moisture.
Turn off input power at the circuit breaker before installing or cleaning the charger.
Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, tamper with, or modify the charger. The charger is not user serviceable. Contact Inteset Technologies for any repairs or modification.
Do not touch the charger's end terminals with fingers or sharp metallic objects, such as wire, tools, or needles.
Use of the charger may affect or impair the operation of any medical or implantable electronic devices, such as an implantable cardiac pacemaker or an implantable cardioverter defibrillator. Check with your electronic device manufacturer concerning the effects that charging may have on such electronic devices before using the charger.
Cautions
Do not operate the charger in temperatures outside its operating range of -13°F to 122°F (-25°C to +50°C).
Do not use private power generators as a power source for charging.
Incorrect installation and testing of the charger could potentially damage either the vehicle’s battery and/or the charger. Any resulting damage is excluded from the Warranty.
Ensure that the charger's charging cable is positioned so it will not be stepped on, driven over, tripped over, or subjected to damage or stress.
Do not use cleaning solvents to clean any of the charger’s components. The outside of the charger, the charging cable, and the connector end of the charging cable should be periodically wiped with a clean, dry cloth to remove accumulation of dirt and dust that may affect performance.
